It is time to be thinking of the Arkansas game tailgate. Once again, there will be a basketball game immediately after the football game. Further, I have to leave early Sunday morning on a Thanksgiving Trip home. Denny plans to be at this tailgate with a few of his entourage, so this one will be a special treat. I currently have plenty of hamburgers, hotdogs, and some sausage in the freezer. Hobie will also be cooking, so I think there is plenty of meat, unless someone likes specific things.
Over the past few tailgates there has been a little controversy over whether people should be bringing things, or donating to the dog house. I think that should be left to the discretion of the individual to choose whichever they prefer. For planning purposes, I just need to know what people are bringing if they choose to bring food and beverage. Because our doghouse contributions have generally been down, I have weighed on bringing things, but it is up to each individual. Some people come from great distances, have small cars, and can't be packing up a lot of stuff.
Since this is the last tailgate of the year, if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Since the game is at 1:30, I suggest we get started with setup early. Those who help with the transport of materials, should be at my house by 8:00am.
